Generally yes! Food trucks offer excellent value with plates typically ranging from $10-15. You get generous portions of authentic local food without the restaurant markup. It's how many locals eat daily.
Most popular food trucks now accept cards, but some smaller operations are still cash-only. We recommend carrying some cash just in case, especially for trucks in more remote areas.
Lunch (11am-1pm) is peak time with the best selection. North Shore shrimp trucks get busy by 11am with tour buses. For less crowds, try arriving right when they open or during mid-afternoon.
