NateEatsHawaii is a Honolulu-based editorial team covering the food of Oahu — from hole-in-the-wall poke shops to legendary plate lunch spots. What started as one local sharing favorite eats with friends has grown into the island's go-to resource for authentic, verified restaurant recommendations.
Every restaurant with the Verified badge has been personally visited and recommended on editorial merit alone. The Editor's Choice badge cannot be purchased, sponsored, or earned through any commercial relationship. Sponsored content elsewhere on the site is clearly labeled. Pricing, hours, and details are confirmed directly with each business at time of publication.
NateEatsHawaii was founded in 2024 by Nate, a Honolulu local, and is operated by NateEatsHawaii LLC. The founding rule hasn't changed: we document the real flavors of Hawaii — the kind of places tourists miss and locals treasure.
